Wheel-thrown plate in clay collected from the banks of the Okement Brook, Devon. Decorated with stencils and and wild clay slips from Pulworthy Brook (dark) and a white ball clay from Meeth Nature Reserve. Unglazed and stoneware-fired.

Suitable for food, waterproof, dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-wash recommended.

This plate can be wall-hung as a piece of art with a disc plate hanger found here

Approximately 22 cm in width

Please note, there is a small indent on the surface of the plate where a piece of organic debris that has burnt off in the kiln and left behind a gap. This is the nature of unprocessed clay taken straight from the stream banks!
