Hamlet of Five Tiny Cottages IV

£42.00
Sold Out

Tiny set of cottages. Glazed in different shino and celadon glazes and wood-fired.

These pieces are fired in a large anagama wood kiln. A team of potters worked around the clock, feeding wood into the kiln for five days and nights. The flame paths and fly ash in the kiln create unique surfaces on each pot, resulting highly varied results including flashing, speckles and glassy melted ash.

These cottages are so tiny that they can perch upon the top of a door frame or sit in a little nook or on a shelf. Stoneware-fired and glazed with tiny door and windows.
