Wheel-thrown plate in clay collected from the banks of the Okement Brook, Devon. Decorated with Devon wild clay slips collected from Okement Brook (pink) and a while ball clay collected from Meeth Nature Reserve. Unglazed, earthenware-fired and sealed with Liquid Quartz to make it waterproof.
Suitable for dry foods only, and can be scratched with metal implements. Not recommended for the dishwasher or microwave

Approximately 25 cm in width.
Please note, there is a small indent on the surface of the plate where a piece of organic debris that has burnt off in the kiln and left behind a gap. This is the nature of unprocessed clay taken straight from the stream bank!
