Hand-built side plate in a smooth white clay with black stencil decoration and warm peach and orange flashing.
This piece is fired in a large anagama wood kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. A team of six potters worked around the clock, feeding wood into the kiln for five days. The flame paths and fly ash in the kiln create unique surfaces on each pot and highly varied results are achieved.
This plate is perfect as a lunch plate for sandwiches or cakes or even mounted on a wall.
Measures approximately 16 cm in diameter

Microwave safe but not safe for use on direct heat sources e.g. stovetops or ovens
Do not expose to sudden temperature changes (e.g. pouring boiling water into a cold vessel), as this may cause cracking or breakage.
Handle with care. Handmade pottery can be delicate and may chip, crack or break if dropped or handled roughly
Keep out of reach of small children and pets to prevent breakage or injury
