Tangerine Cottage - Second
Handbuilt, glazed and stoneware-fired little pottery cottage.
This cottage is a second due to a small crack in the join on the front steps.
This piece is fired in a gas kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. By controlling the amount of oxygen the kiln receives, unique and highly varied results can be achieved, resulting in distinctive colours and textures and speckles.
This house can be used as a luminary. To light up the cottage, simply place it on top of a tealight candle or insert battery-operated wire lights.
Safety notice and warnings:
This item is for decorative purposes. While a small tealight candle can be used inside the luminary, a battery operated tealight or string lights are recommended.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from flammable objects, materials and surfaces.
Allow the candle holder to cool before handling. The top can become hot with a naked flame.
Keep out of reach of small children and pets to prevent breakage or injury
Handle with care. Handmade pottery can be delicate and may chip, crack or break if dropped or handled roughly
