Wall Vase in Pale Green Celadon

£74.00
Only 1 available

Wheel-thrown and altered vase with a flat back and hole for hanging on the wall. Wood-fired.

This piece is fired in a large anagama wood kiln. A team of potters worked around the clock, feeding wood into the kiln for five days and nights. The flame paths and fly ash in the kiln create unique surfaces on each pot, resulting highly varied results including flashing, speckles and glassy melted ash.

This vase is perfect for flowers, feathers or on its own. It can be hung on a wall.

This piece is a second due to an uneven base, where the glaze has dripped. It does not affect its ability to hang on a wall but is not suitable to stand on a flat surface.

Measures approximately 13 cm (tall).
