Wheel-thrown mug, decorated with an iron-rich clay and porcelain slip to represent a moorland scene. Fired in an anagama wood kiln for five days.

This piece is fired in a large wood kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. A team of six potters worked around the clock, feeding wood into the kiln for five days. The flame paths and fly ash in the kiln create unique surfaces on each pot and highly varied results are achieved.

This mug can be used for tea, coffee, or cold drinks.

This listing is for one cup only, although more may be available.

Stoneware-fired, dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-washing recommended.
