Wheel-thrown mug, glazed in a shino and celadon to create a moorland landscape.
This piece is a second because I forgot to glaze the inside! However, this clay is fully vitrified and watertight and this will not affect its function.
This piece is fired in a gas kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. By controlling the amount of oxygen the kiln receives, unique and highly varied results can be achieved, resulting in distinctive colours and textures and speckles.
Stoneware-fired, dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-washing recommended.
