The Forest Plate in Wild Clay - Stoneware
Wheel-thrown plate in clay collected from the banks of the Okement Brook, Devon. Decorated with stencils and and wild clay slips from Pulworthy Brook (dark) and a white ball clay from Meeth Nature Reserve. Glazed in a glossy transparent and stoneware-fired.
Suitable for food, waterproof, dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-wash recommended.

Please note, there is a small indent on the surface of the plate where a piece of organic debris that has burnt off in the kiln and left behind a gap, this has been filled with glaze. This is the nature of unprocessed clay taken straight from the stream banks!
