Garden Cottage - Gas-fired

£48.00
Only 1 available

Handbuilt, glazed and stoneware-fired little pottery cottage.

This piece is fired in a gas kiln, in a reduction atmosphere. By controlling the amount of oxygen the kiln receives, unique and highly varied results can be achieved, resulting in distinctive colours and textures and speckles.

This house can be used as a luminary, incense burner or just as it is. To light up the cottage, simply place it on top of a tealight candle or insert battery-operated wire lights. Alternatively place the house over an incense cone or place an incense stick in the chimney.

If using a tealight or incense cone, make sure to place the house on a non-flammable surface. The house will get hot to the touch, just mind your fingers!
